We ask that clients have at least one verified billing method on file at all times. You can always add multiple credit cards or PayPal accounts, but you’ll set one as your primary payment method for billing purposes. Adding more than one billing method may help avoid account disruption in case a transaction fails or your card expires.
Change your primary billing method
- Go to Settings > Billing & Payments
- Add the new credit card or PayPal account before removing your primary credit card
- Verify your new credit card, and be sure to select it as the primary payment method for your account
- Remove the old credit card or PayPal account
If you only have one payment method on file and you want to delete it, add a new payment method before deleting your old one. If your bank account is your primary billing method, you need to have an additional, active payment method on file at all times too.
