You can submit deliverables and send files of 1 GB or less through Upwork Messages.
If you need to send larger files to your client, there are a number of file-sharing options out there, and the clients you're working with may have their own way of doing it. Some companies even have policies about how and where files can be shared. If you’re not sure how your client wants you to deliver your work, get in touch with them to find out.
To submit work or files
- Go to Messages
- Select the message room you need
- Select the paperclip icon and choose whether to attach the file directly, or use a dropbox for larger files. You can also drag and drop files into the messaging area.
To download work or files
- Go to Messages
- Select the message room you need
- Choose the right panel (ⓘ button) and select Files & Links
- Select the three dots (...) button on the relevant file and choose Download or Delete
