Adding a certification from Credly
If you have a Credly account, you can now add your certifications from that account to Upwork with the Credly import feature. We’ll note that those certifications were verified by Credly on your profile.

If you have certifications that are not issued by Credly or don’t have a Credly account, you’ll still be able to add your certifications through the manual option.
To import your certifications via Credly:
- Go to Find Work › Profile
- Scroll down to the Certifications section and choose the Import from Credly button
- Log in to Credly
- When prompted to choose whether Upwork can access your Credly account, choose Allow Access
- Choose the credentials you want to import

- Go to Find Work › Profile
- Scroll down to the Certifications section and choose the Add Manually button
- Select a verifiable certification from the list and follow the instructions provided
Once you complete the verification process, your profile will feature the official certification logo; a 'verified' badge on your certification. This may help you access opportunities that match your level of skill.
If you try to enter a certification that’s not on the list, you’ll have the opportunity to add a custom certification. You can add up to two custom certifications. Note that a custom certification will not have a verified badge.
