The Upwork mobile app enables seamless job searching and proposal submission on the go, with synchronized job feeds and saved searches across mobile and desktop. While proposals can be submitted via the app (except for agencies), users must visit Upwork.com to view submitted proposals. Saved progress ensures interrupted work isn’t lost.


Use the mobile app’s job search and proposal features to find and apply for projects anytime, anywhere — even when you’re on the go. 

Sync your job search

You can browse jobs by category or narrow your search with filters whether you’re on the app or Upwork.com, and these features will sync your searches on both:

  • Your job feed and search results
  • Your saved searches
  • Your Saved jobs list

Submit proposals

  • Clients won’t see whether you submitted a proposal via the mobile app, mobile web, or desktop — it all looks the same on their end
  • The mobile app doesn’t show a list of submitted proposals. To view them, head Upwork.com from your desktop or mobile web browser
  • Your work saves automatically. If you're interrupted, just return to the job and tap the Continue Proposal bar to pick up where you left off (this may only work on the same mobile device)
  • Not available for agencies. Agency business managers and agency freelancers can submit proposals from Upwork.com.

Frequently Asked Questions

I can’t submit proposals on mobile. The error message says “no Connects available.”

If you no longer have a Connects balance, please log in to the desktop site to purchase additional Connects.
