Whether you want to reduce eye strain, save energy, or just like the way it looks, you can easily choose dark mode for your Upwork display interface. You can also switch back to light mode or set Upwork’s theme setting to sync with your device.
To set your mode:
- Go to your profile dropdown in the navigation bar at the top of your screen
- From the dropdown selections, choose Theme
- Choose from Auto, Light mode, or Dark mode. (Auto syncs the theme to your device’s settings)
The icon beside Theme will change to reflect your choice, showing either a computer screen, a light, or a moon. You can update your choice at any time.
Some pages on Upwork, such as Help pages like this one, will still display in light mode even when dark mode is activated, but most of the platform will conform to your choice.
