Occasionally, this variation may include promotional discounts, and we’ll notify you if a promotion applies to you. How and when will I see the Freelancer Service Fee I’ll pay on a contract?
You’ll see the fee percentage when a client sends you an contract offer (in the payment details section). Additionally, the percentage will continue to appear on your transaction summaries once a contract is in place.

No, the new variable fee structure only applies to new contracts.

Freelancers who subscribe to Freelancer Plus will still receive the 0% Freelancer Service Fee when they bring a new contract to Upwork through Direct Contracts.
