Partner-Verified status is initiated by our accredited partners — it’s for freelancers they’ve identified as having completed their specialized training or certification programs. If you earn a Partner-Verified check mark, it will appear on your freelancer profile and proposal.
Being Partner-Verified lets clients know you have:
- Completed specialized training or certification programs with one of Upwork's accredited partners
- Had your skills and credentials verified by these partners
- Met Upwork's criteria for profile completeness
Who can become Partner-Verified?
Only freelancers who’ve completed a training or certification program with one of our official partners — and met that partner’s success criteria — are eligible to become Partner-Verified.
Our partners let us know when someone qualifies. If you’re eligible, they’ll email you with details about how to showcase your skills on Upwork.
If you already have an Upwork account, we’ll automatically confirm your email is a match to our partner’s list and add the check mark to your profile. You won’t have to take any action.
