In this article

Important: Any Connects you used to submit your proposal won’t be refunded when you withdraw it.

How do I withdraw a proposal?

  1. Go to Find work › Proposals and offers
  2. Find the proposal you want to remove and select the title
  3. Scroll down and select Withdraw proposal

Can I submit another proposal for the same job post after withdrawing one?

Yes, you can submit a new proposal to the same job post as long as your original proposal wasn’t boosted and didn't include an video interview powered by Uma™, Upwork's Mindful AI. Just keep in mind that you'll need to use Connects again to send the new proposal.

I withdrew my Boosted Proposal and now I can't resubmit it. Why?

If you withdraw a proposal that was boosted or included an video interview (powered by Uma™), you won’t be able to submit it again — even if the job post is still open.

These proposal types are handled differently and can't be re-submitted after being withdrawn.
