Who can use Payoneer to withdraw earnings?
- Live outside the U.S. or India — it's not available in those countries
- Use your own registered and verified Payoneer account — and the name on your Payoneer account must match your verified name on Upwork
Note: Mali-XOF is not an accepted currency for Payoneer.
How do I add Payoneer as a withdrawal method?
- Go to Account settings (desktop) or Settings (mobile app) > Withdrawals
- Scroll to Withdrawal methods and select Add a method
- Select the Set Up button for your chosen method
- Complete the Payoneer registration process (either by creating a new account or logging in to add Upwork to an existing one)
- When you're finished, you'll be automatically returned to the Upwork site
- Choose a payment schedule and select Next
See the fees and timing when you use Payoneer.
Note: For security reasons, your new withdrawal method will become active in three days.
Once you have Payoneer set up as your withdrawal method on Upwork, any withdrawals should arrive within 24 hours. If not, contact Payoneer to check on status.
How do I edit or change my Payoneer details on Upwork?
How do I remove Payoneer as a withdrawal method?
You can remove your Payoneer account if you no longer intend to use it to receive your earnings from Upwork clients.
- Go to Account settings (desktop) or Settings (mobile app) > Withdrawals
- Scroll to your Withdrawal methods
- Find Payoneer and select Remove
What's the connection between my card issuer, Wirecard Solutions Limited, and Wirecard AG?
If you're issued a Payoneer card outside the U.S., it may be backed by Wirecard Card Solutions Limited (WCSL), a subsidiary of Wirecard AG. They're the card issuer — not Upwork or Payoneer themselves.
