How do I set the rate that shows on an agency member’s profile?

1. Go to Find Work › Agency Roster
2. Choose the hourly rate displayed on each exclusive agency freelancer’s profile. This can reflect an average or typical rate — and you can update it at any time.

How do I set our agency hourly rate?

1. Go to Find Work › Agency Roster
2. There you can set an hourly rate that appears directly on your agency’s public profile. If your team members have different rates, your agency profile will show a range instead

How can I control profile visibility?

1. Go to Find Work › Agency Roster
2. Decide who can view your agency freelancers' profiles:
    

• Public: Visible to anyone, including search engines
• Upwork users only: Visible only to logged-in users
• Hidden: Not discoverable in the marketplace

Can I keep agency members' rates and earnings history private?

You can keep rates and earnings private by hiding them in Find Work › Agency Roster. To use this setting, make sure the member’s profile visibility is set to Upwork users only or Hidden.

Do I have to set an hourly rate if our agency charges per project?

Yes — every agency account must include an hourly rate, even if your actual billing is project-based.

You're free to:

• Adjust the hourly rate as needed
• Display an average rate
• Set a custom hourly rate on your agency profile
• Negotiate different rates per project

If your agency includes more than one exclusive member, your profile will automatically show the range of their individual rates.
