Learn how to quickly rehire freelancers or agencies on Upwork by finding past talent, sending a new offer, and managing your active contracts easily.
If someone did a great job and you'd like to bring them back for another project, it's quick and easy to do:
- Go to Hire talent >Talent you've hired to see freelancers and agencies you've worked with on past projects
- Select the (...) menu button next to the one you want to rehire
- Choose Rehire from the dropdown menu
- Set your contract terms and send an offer
As with any offer, the freelancer or agency can accept, decline, or ask for different terms.
If they accept, the contract starts, and you can confirm your new contract is active by going to Manage work > Your active contracts. On an hourly job, your freelancer can't log time until the start date you set in your offer.
