I'm a freelancer on Upwork, how do I add a client profile?

  1. Go to Account settings (desktop) or Settings (mobile app) > Contact info and scroll down to Additional accounts
  2. Choose New Client Account
  3. Once set up, you can switch between using Upwork as a client, freelancer, or agency from the account menu under your profile picture


I'm a client on Upwork, how do I add a freelancer profile to my Upwork account?

  1. Go to Account settings (desktop) or Settings (mobile app) > My info
  2. Select the Create New Account link
  3. Choose New Freelancer Account
  4. Once set up, you can switch between using Upwork as a client, freelancer, or agency from the account menu under your profile picture
