Yes. You can move a client–freelancer relationship off Upwork through our contract conversion process. The client typically initiates the request, and the Upwork Conversion Fee must be paid before either party makes payments outside Upwork. Once the freelancer accepts and Upwork confirms the conversion is complete, you can work together off-platform without violating the Terms of Service.
