Learn how to let clients update their feedback, the time limits, and how it affects your Job Success Score.

How does changing client feedback work?

When you enable a client to change their feedback, they have 14 days to submit a single revised public rating.

Here is what to keep in mind:

  • Clients can update their public feedback, but they cannot change the reason they selected for ending the contract.
  • If a client selected a negative contract-ending reason, that reason may take precedence over public feedback and cause the job to be marked as unsuccessful.

How to allow a client to change feedback?

  1. Go to All contracts
  2. Select the contract to open the details page
  3. Find the client's feedback
  4. Select Enable client to change feedback

Note: Allowing a client to change feedback only lets them update their public feedback — it does not let them change the reason they originally selected for ending the contract.
