- A 10% fee* on all freelancer payments. This includes for hourly and fixed-price contracts, Project Catalog purchases, and any bonuses you give
- A Contract Initiation Fee: A one-time fee per contract of up to $4.99 USD applies to new contracts under $100 USD.
*Note: We offer a discounted fee for eligible U.S. clients
Some U.S. clients may qualify for a reduced 8% fee by paying with a checking account. If you're eligible, this option will appear under Billing & Payments when you add a payment method.
What happens to fees if I change my Business Plus plan?
If you change your Business Plus membership — whether upgrading or downgrading — your billing structure updates immediately.
This means:
Open contracts will follow your new plan’s fees
Any new contracts will also follow your new plan’s fees
All payments and transactions will reflect your membership level at the time they’re processed
You’ll see these changes take effect as soon as you switch plans. If you have active projects, you won’t need to take any action — the new fee structure applies automatically moving forward.
Is there an extra fee to use monthly invoicing through Net 30 payments for Business Plus members?
No, there is no extra fee to use Net 30 monthly invoicing. However, this program requires an application.
