Hiring managers can receive automated, up-to-date reports on their purchase orders (POs) by reaching out to us.

Information we can include in PO reports

  • PO number
  • PO description
  • PO expiration date
  • PO amount
  • Total charges
  • Remaining balance on expiring POs


The balance that displays on a report may include unbilled transactions, and it may not reflect any manual adjustments that need to be made. The actual amount due will be the amount shown on your bill from Enterprise billing.

Requesting your PO reports

You can email us from the Email button on the Enterprise Support home page to request a report.

Please include the following:

  • The PO number
  • The timeframe for the report (for example, the past year or a specific quarter)
  • How often do you want to receive the report (one-time only? on a set schedule?)
  • If you need us to customize the report. Let us know what would help and we’ll do our best to meet your needs
  • The email address associated with your Upwork Enterprise account (this is just to confirm we have the correct account, the reports will be sent via Upwork Messages)
  • If you’d like us to send the report in Upwork Messages to additional people, please include their names and email addresses too

Receiving and accessing your automated PO reports

We will send your reports to you via Upwork Messages. You can go to Messages from your navigation menu on any page.

Yes, if you need custom information on your reports, you may include that in your report request and we will try to accommodate your specific needs.

How do I change the frequency of the automated reports after they have been set up?

You can request a change in the frequency of your reports by contacting our Enterprise Support team.

Can multiple recipients be added to the automated PO reports?

Yes, if you need the reports to go to other people who work with your company on Upwork, include their names and email addresses in your request. Note that the email address is for confirming the correct person — we will send the reports through Upwork Messages.

What should I do if I'm not receiving my scheduled PO report?

If you don’t see the report in Upwork Messages, please contact us by selecting the Email us button on the Support home page or call 855-729-8551.
