To create a new team on Upwork, navigate to Settings › Teams › Create New Team, enter your desired name, and select Create Team. Once set up, you can assign contracts to this team by selecting it from the drop-down menu when posting new jobs, streamlining collaboration and contract organization.

 

Teams can help you collaborate within your company and with freelancers.

Create a new team

  1. Go to Settings › Teams › Create New Team
  2. Enter desired team name
  3. Select Create Team

To contract freelancers and agencies under your new team, simply select the appropriate team’s drop-down when posting a new job. To learn more about how you can use teams to group your contracts, go here.
